Baaaack Babeh!

Holidays are here! So far it's been almsot two weeks into the holidays. What have I been up to? (Besides obviously ignoring this blog. THe shame!)



Have been shifting things around the room and the usual putting away of the last semester's notes. I make my notes into books after arranging them by sequence and spiral binding them. Its an investment as I can easily trace back my notes and refer to any topic or chapter that I might need in the future.. ALthough I should keep Current Issues unbinded for the moment. GOd knows mad tough it was. :S

Shifted bed back to the windowside again. Fresh air supply really lacking in the original position in room. SO now I can breathe properly throught the night without havign to wake up countless of times in the middle of the night to adjust the fan when it gets too warm or cold - too cold and I simply snuggle up under blanket now.


Tze Ren's birthday party awhile back. Nice house! And we plyed twister which was MAD!

Assembled desktop PC in room with the help of Rovi and Wk. They helped decide what components to buy that best suits my current and future redicted needs. I said all I want is a comp running Sims 3 properly and do assignments and 'research' without leaving my room.. Hence, this was born!

Love it so much! At first it gave us a bit of problem because some parts inside were polarly connected wrongly but in the end everything was figured out and now the comp is running fine! You'll see alot of me online now. :D THanks so much guys! Owe you both.

P.S. Skipping Rainforest this year. THe fact that hundreds of potential H1N1 carriers concentrated in Kuching itself is warning enough to warrant me homebound over the weekend - or at least to wear a mask when I have to go out. And, super pokai after buyign the new desktop anyway.

is it weird that our regionals theme is break walls, build bridges while idols final song is no boundaries? Lol

I feel this batch was one of the best i've worked with in my life. So fun and yet responsible, capable and helpful. Dammit i wish it never had to end. :(

malas wanan update la. still got 2 exams to go next week and got 1meeting, and 1 interview lined up. ANd a whole booklet to compile.

Kemalasan. No wonder dun feel so energetic for exams la...

Going mad crazy in my room now. Argh! Exams have a way of manipulating me brains and body to feel like it was over so I cant recall everything I studied.

That, or I'm too hyped up with caffeine and cant sit down properly. Eek.

Bran Drain

1. Taxation Issues and Planning students are really bodybuilders in disguise. All those heavy books!

2. Red Bull and Nescafe will profit from opening short booths in our lobby. You know, like how burger stalls mushroom around the stadium whenever we have sports day? Good idea right??

3. Or we could install RAMs in our head - plug in USB filled with lecturer's slides and copy over. No need to study any further!

4. Those lucky bastards who have either photographic memory or muscle memory - argh! screw you!

6th Lasallian Regionals Convention 2009

Regionals came and gone. Argh! Miss the gang lar.

This time around the OTS were in my opinion one of the craziest but most capable. Love the way things get done voluntarily by everyone without complains, hassle or demanding retribution.

Also met up with some old buddies: Lovena and Geral! Gerard, Jason, Isaac. Jasmine and Yin, no need to say. :P And made loads of new friends.

So long no updates. back from Regionals last week as you can expect from the inflow of pictures on facebook from other Kuchingites, it was a BLAST! Totally no regrets coming back this year round :)

Studying my ass off everyday. Both laptop and music player failed on me but by a stroke of miracle, they both came back to life last night~! Damn happy now, can blog again and reformat my mp4. Phewh~!

new phone is doing me good. Going online very often at home using n82, reading lecture slides and most especially taking photos! Fun lar, life seems to have been upgraded with better technology at hand. Literally. 

Papers on 17th, 19th, 24th and 25th. Preparing for them all is crucial especially since only 1 is an open book test. Barely surviving them all, especially macro and current issues la. But fingers crossed. Besides, next sem I only have 2 subjects left so can afford to fail la, but TOUCH WOOD! XD

The midnight breeze accompanies me on my nocturnal journey as i traverse along the plains of once-trees stained in blots.. Oh, how I wish time were on my side!

Rewatching Idol finale - it amazes me how I keep on going back and forth on who I believe really should win the title. Adam or Kris? Both are good.

And yes, I want to kiss a girl.

Exams are... less than a month away. 38 chapters to reread, remember and revise. And here I am blogging?!

The things I do out of stress! :p

Have a habit of laying out my highlighters and pens in order before I study.. if not Surely will not study properly. Bad or good?

But they harmonise so well!

Had 2 near-contact incidents with H1N1.. Dun play play! Upped my vitamin C doses to improve the immune system..

Helped with organising the CPA Networking Night/ Installation Dinner last Friday. It was a blast! I felt like David Tutera for like, twelve hours (that was how long I went without food/water lol) running around arranginf stuff asking for help coordinating slides etc.

As a result, phone battery is dying. Mostly, the phoen is almost half-dead anyway what with me consistently dropping it with my butterfingers and been using it for more than 2 years now on 2 batteries.. Thsi emergency battery charger is a real life saver! Bought if on eBay and have been using it with Sony's rechargeable batteries. 

Found the link to the product here. Go check it out! The seller's from Singapore and I bought quite a few items from him/her over a period of 12 months. So far, no complains!
